Mike is a veteran of the U.S. Navy who returned to the state he loves. He began his career in real estate as a young man in home construction. For the past 18 years Mike has been involved in the multiple facets of the real estate industry in Santa Fe from land and home sales to development, and finally to creating his own company Gerasia, devoted to his distinctly designed and built homes incorporating his uniquely individual style. His landscape design company soon followed the creation of his artfully constructed homes.

Mike is an avid art and antique collector. He is well informed of contemporary art in New Mexico and shares this love with his wife who is the director and curator of the New Mexico Capitol Art Foundation. He is also an active supporter of environmental and wildlife preservation through his contributions to the Wildlife Center, the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Animal Humane Society. As a native New Mexican, Mike can share with you New Mexico treasures---from quaint, downtown adobe to the historical estate on the eastside to the rural ranch in the mountains. He will acknowledge New Mexico’s limitations and celebrate its potential.
